Hradec Králové (1)
´Salon of Republic´ is the attribute that city Hradec Kralove (Czech Republic) gained in the first half of the 20th century due to the unique architecture and pleasant lifestyle. Building of East Bohemian Museum, originally the Municipal Museum, was built in 1909–1913. The author is an architect Jan Kotera, leader of Czech modern architecture. Kotera designed not only buildings, but also its original interior and partially decoration. The author of the allegorical figures in frontage of the building is Stanislav Sucharda.
´Salon republiky´je přívlastek, který město Hradec Králové získalo v první polovině 20. století díky unikátní architektuře a příjemnému životnímu stylu. Budova Muzea východních Čech, původně Městského muzea, byla postavena v letech 1909–1913. Jejím autorem je architekt Jan Kotěra, vůdčí osobnost české moderní architektury. Kotěra navrhl nejen budovu, ale také její původní vnitřní vybavení a částečně i výzdobu. Autorem alegorických figur v průčelí je Stanislav Sucharda.
