Obec Libná (Libenau) vznikla ve 14 století, v roce 1910 měla 91 domů a 473 obyvatel. Po první světové válce 390 německých a 15 českých. Po roce 1945, po vyhnání původních obyvatel, nebyla dosídlena a většina domů byla rozebrána. Opravdu smutné místo…

/ Village Libná, ger. Libenau (Broumovsko, Czech Republic) was founded in the 14th century, in 1910 it had 91 houses and 473 inhabitants. After World War II there was 390 German and 15 Czech inhabitants.  After 1945 and following expulsion of  indigenous people village was not resettled and most of the houses dismantled. Really sad place…
