Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer (1689–1751)
Undoubtedly the most gifted one of the famous builders´family. After his seven-year
apprenticeship journey around Europe he worked together with his father until his death.
Within 32 years he managed to realize more than 200 constructions in designs of which
he employed smart spatial solutions and extraordinary sensitivity for the genius loci.
According to his plans, buildings arose in Broumov, Heřmánkovice, Vižňov, Šonov,
Božanov, Bezděkov, Meziměstí and on Hvězda.
